Tiger Scheduling was a project I built to introduce myself to application development.
I wanted to understand what goes into building iOS apps and what the experience is
like for the developers who create them.
To start, I decided to solve an issue everyone, including me, struggles with:
simple forgetfulness. Whether it's forgetting a task at work or a daily errand,
we all forget the little things.
The User Interface
While addressing forgetfulness, I also wanted the app to have a simple, easy-to-use interface
so users could manage tasks without navigating to new pages.
With one main interface, users only need to enter important details and a reminder time
without jumping through 10 other pages.
The UI design was inspired by my need for simplicity and the university I called home for four years.
Clemson University's purple and orange create a great color combination, along
with a cute chibi tiger to convey what the app is meant to do.
A Simple App to Conquer the Day
Tiger Scheduling, while simple in design, helps users plan out
their week with quick reminders. Busy people already have
full calendars, and information can get lost. By using this app, people can
stay up to date with tasks in and out of the workplace without needing to navigate
a complex UI.
